Rajini Says No To Illegal Banners And He Is Here To Fill The Political Vacuum:- Superstar Rajinikanth announced that he would be floating his own political party in Tamil Nadu and it would be completely for the benefit of the poor. He even clarified that he is into politics for service and not to earn money. The actor has been criticised for the erection of illegal hoardings and banners in Maduravoyil region in Chennai. He apologised the people for the caused inconvenience and he requested his fans to avoid banners and hoardings in future. He even requested them not to waste money on such acts. Rajini inaugurated a statue of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran at the Dr MGR Educational during which the actor addressed his fans.

Rajinikanth answered many questions during the event that left his fans puzzled from some time. Rajini revealed that he was asked why he didnot enter politics when Jayalalithaa was ruling and if it was the fear for her. Rajini said "There is a lot of political vacuum in the state and I am here to fill it. Tamil Nadu needs the right leader now. There won't be a leader like MGR and I will replicate his governance. Technology and good advisers are the major pillars and I am here following them".
