Actor Kamal Hassan Mocks AIADMK Merger:- The rival factions of Tamil Nadu’s ruling party AIADMK party officially finally announced a merger today with Chief Minister E Palaniswami and his O Panneerselvam.

According to the reports from the Raj Bhavan, Panneerselvam, who thrice held the post of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, will be sworn-in as Deputy Chief Minister in the cabinet headed by Mr Palaniswami at a ceremony to be held at Raj Bhavan.

Panneerselvam would also hold the plum portfolios of Finance, Housing, Rural Housing, Housing Development, Slum Clearance Board and Accommodation Control, Town Planning, Urban Development, and Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority.

Amidst thunderous applause and jubilant scenes at a crowded ceremony, Tamil Nadu Chief minister K. Palaniswami praised Panneerselvam for facilitating the merger.

Speaking about the merger with EPS faction, Panneerselvam said, “We are now going to Amma’s samadhi to seek her blessing. I am happy to be back in your midst.

Reacting to this move, Actor Kamal Hassan took his Twitter handle and mocks AIADMK merger in his tweet, “Gandhi cap! Saffron cap! Kashmir cap! Now, the clown’s cap sits on the Tamilian’s head. Is this enough or you want more? Please stand up, Tamilians.” He added, “My aim is a better Tamil Nadu. Who dares to strengthen my voice? DMK AIADMK & parties are tools to help. If those tools are blunt finds others.”
