TS MP Kavitha Starts “Gift A Helmet” Online Campaign On KTR’s Birthday:- To promote the use of helmet among motorists, Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha started an online campaign under the name, “Sisters4Change#GiftAHelmet”.
She kick-started the campaign on Monday on her Twitter handle as her brother and Telangana minister KTR’s birthday was celebrated. The campaign was also launched ahead of the Raksha Bandhan festival, which falls on August 7.
The MP appealed to all sisters in the country to tie rakhi and gift a helmet to their brothers.
Kavitha tweeted:

Kavitha said, “It is the need of hour to safeguard our brothers and rewrite the tradition by gifting them a helmet this rakhi. As the number of deaths in two-wheeler accidents are much higher than the terrorist attacks.”
Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal supported the campaign and KTR too supported called it interesting.
