Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced currency demonetization after which he tightened the rotation of cash through which he has been promoting digital payments. He even stepped out urging the people to be transparent and it is all possible through online payments. Now the Indian government instructed all the banks to enable internet banking across all the branches and accounts before March 31st. The government also asked to link up the aadhaar numbers mandatorily.
This will sure facilitate digital and online payments with utmost perfection suggested the government. All the highest level officials approved this after which the banks have been instructed. IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told that this step will make India a rapid force in the digital field and will add new consumers to the world of online transactions. Banks have been requested to get Aadhaar on board by March 31.
