Sachin as Sachin in Biopic!

In a sensational news, Indian master blaster and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is reportedly set to play himself in a feature film which is based on his life and cricketing career.  According to Times of India, World Sports Group [WSG] is planning to make a film and has roped London based sports columnist James Erskine to direct the film. However, we are not sure whether Sachin will play a full-fledged role or appear as a guest in the film.

Mumbai based '200 Not Out' has bagged the rights from WSG and the production house is currently consulting other cricket boards to get the footage of Sachin which can be helpful for the film. According to the sources, the film will touch the unknown part of Sachin right from his childhood to marriage with Anjali involving his cricketing profile too.

The film is yet to be named and will be screened in 2000 theatres across the globe. Sachin's autobiography 'Playing It My Way' was a huge hit and the book is currently getting translated into other languages too. Now imagine a Sachin 'Biopic,' diehard fans would to see Sachin on the silver screen.
