Apple has confirmed the launch of the six edition of its flagship smartphone iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in India and as per the latest reports, iPhone 6 will be available from October 17th . However, the company disclose the price details and left it for its authorised partners.
Apple confirmed that customers can pre-order the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus starting this week, specifically Tuesday, October 7 and it is learnt that the iPhone 6 16GB variant will be available in India at a price of Rs. 53,500, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus will start at Rs. 62,500.
But Apple continues to remain in silent mode over the bendgate controversy and has also been embarrassed by a series of bugs in iOS 8, the OS that comes pre-installed on the new iPhone models. India is an emerging market for the smartphone and let's see how the sales will go a like despite the controversies.
