The dialogue "Dawood Ibrahim has retired, Chhota Rajan has become inactive, Abu Salem is in jail..." in the promos of "Satya-2" brought the ire of the underworld of Mumbai on Ram Gopal Varma.  As per the reliable sources, Varma was threatened by Chota Shakeel.

Although Varma received many threats previously he never cared the way he never cared for the controversies he constantly faced.  But this time Varma also became aware of the seriousness in the threats and informed police about it but no formal filing of complaint was done against Shakeel.

Police confirmed from their investigations through tracing the phone calls that the call was made by Shakeel but he is not available on the number at present.  Varma is already given police protection.

Satya-2 has already brought craze among the public thanks to the controversy.  Varma seems that he prefers controversial comments more to promote his movies.  But this time Varma inclined to take police support as the threat did not look as a small thing to be brushed off.
