YSR Congress Party was offered a berth by the West Bengal State Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee in the new alliance at National level.

Mamta Benarjee who wants to make an alternative to UPA and NDA says that both the groups failed in functioning in the in the interests and welfare of the people of India and it necessitated to form a new power to emerge at National level which will be called Federal Union.  It is an opportunity for YSRCP to widen their scope of politics from State to National level.

Although the invitation received by the YSRCP Honorary President Vijayamma responded that she can give an answer after consulting her son YS Jagan, it is like a very hot cup of tea in a steel glass that cannot be drank immediately or can it be held in hands.  

The offer is good but the alliance with a new unborn group strength of which cannot be assessed now cannot be jumped upon to grab.

Secondly, already a wrath from the enmity with the Congress party is already faced by the party with the founder and President of the only hero of the party put in the jail and charged with strong cases.  Now by joining an alliance that is against the Congress party is not imaginable at this time as releasing Jagan from jail on bail is the priority over other things.

In spite of the chances of getting criticism from other parties in the State, Vijayamma already announced her willingness to support UPA Government (if not Congress party) although UPA is led by AICC.   But so far AICC has not responded to her announcement.   While looking forward for a friendly gesture from the Congress party like it extended to Kanimozhi of DMK in Rajya Sabha elections, YSRCP cannot afford to lose that chance now after so much of waiting for it.
