The above question was raised by Telangana YSR Congress MLAs and leaders to Jagan. Yesterday YSRCP chief Jagan met Telangana leaders of his party but this meeting turned out to be a heated one as leaders are not quite happy about the party status in Telangana state. Few leaders have hit hard at Jagan for neglecting the state and eventually the future of leaders fell in dilemma.
However, Jagan clarified that he needs to focus on Andhra Pradesh as YSRCP is the main opposition there. This statement did not convince leaders and again they questioned Jagan, what measures he is going to take to ensure YSRCP survives in Telangana. “One MLA already left the party and the high command is not bothered. We are away from the Medak by-election and the opposition parties are protesting against government in every possible way. But YSRCP did not do a single protest till date. Where are we heading to,” said a prominent leader.
For this Jagan replied that YSRCP will be active in Telangana post Dussehra festival. Leaders also urged Jagan to tour in Telangana but Jagan was quite reluctant in this. The discussion over who should YSRCP in Telangana also came. Quite a good number proposed Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy name but he is no mood for the post. Later Sharmila name was proposed but Jagan refused this and added that a Telangana born leader would be appropriate to lead YSRCP in the state.
