With MIM crossing swords with Congress over some alleged issues, there have been many speculations with whom Owaisi brothers will join hands. When MIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi clearly said that Jagan was his new friend in a press meet, it was more or less evident that MIM would strike a political deal with YSRC. But now, the big opposition party Chandrababu Naidu seemed to be playing his dice smartly for joining hands with MIM. Reportedly, as a part of the same, Chandrababu Naidu has extended his support to MIM in MLC elections.
Also, it is known that MIM was a close ally of TDP when NTR was in the power. The party then broke its alliance with TDP when latter joined hands with its rival BJP. Now that TDP and BJP are apparently not in good terms and since MIM earlier had a close relationship with TDP, chances-according to the observers-are bright that MIM might enter into alliance with TDP. If something like that happens, will there be a threat to Congress in terms of minority votes? That's an obvious question.
Why MIM will not join hands with YSRC? If this is your question, then we have observers' opinion as an answer. Observers said that differences cropped up between YSRC and Congress in the recent past and that's the reason why it would not show interest to join hands with YSRC. All in all, padayatra, MIM support and taking on Congress - these three things are now making TDP hog the limelight. Let us see if this can make Chandrababu adorn CM throne yet another time!
