Telugu Desam Party seems to be trying its best for making a point in the public that it has been fighting public issues. While TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is busy in his padayatra taking Congress and YSRC and pilla Congress and Thalli Congress (meaning baby Congress and mother Congress), the other leaders of the party in Hyderabad are staging protests.
In a similar act, the leaders of TDP today gathered at Gun Park of Hyderabad to extend their support to the textile merchants, who are opposed to value added tax on textiles. While staging the protest at Gun Park, TDP leaders said that they would stand in support of textile merchants. They even alleged that the government was deceiving the public by escalating taxes while mentioning that it would not be increasing the taxes on one hand.
All in all, TDP gained hogged enough limelight for the past few months. Will this really work wonders for the party in 2014? Time alone has an answer to this obvious question.
