Antony Committee Should Visit Districts-Ganta August 16, 2013 09:45

The Minister for Infrastructure and Investments Ganta Srinivasa Rao unveiled Telugu Talli statue at Maddilapalem Center, Visakhapatnam. On that occasion he talked about the functioning of Antony Committee. He expressed his opinion that the Committee instead sitting at Delhi or Hyderabad hearing representation from the leaders either in support or against the decision of bifurcation of the State may not serve the purpose. The Committee should visit the districts to understand them better. After all, Ganta says, people are our High Command. So the party should reconsider their decision to bifurcate the State as the support for Samaikyandhra is growing day by day. He also said that the movement will intensify if the party high command does not reverse its decision in favor of Samaikya movement. He reaffirmed his decision to quit the Cabinet and also said that already so many have resigned and others also will follow in the wake of the Samaikyandhra demand that is continuously on rise.
