Lakshmi Parvathi urges HC

N Lakshmi Parvathi, widow of TDP founder and former chief minister N T Rama Rao, has urged the AP High Court to implead her as one of the parties in the ongoing case pertaining to the alleged illegal assets of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.

Parvathi had complained to the ACB court in 2005 about the disproportionate assets of Naidu which was taken up for hearing and later the same was stayed by the High Court following Naidu's petition against it. "Naidu was never given a clean chit by any court as is being claimed by him," she said in her petition. "He comes out of the cases on technical grounds and shows to the world the same as clean chit," she said. "Coming from an ordinary farmer family, Naidu has amassed huge wealth through corrupt means," Lakshmi Parvathi added.
