IT sleuths today raided the premises of well known Tollywood heroine Anushka at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.  The raid came as a rude shock to the glamorous actress.

Reports said the raiding party has seized several documents, bank pass books, cash and gold. Anushka and her parents were present in the house when the raid took place.

Sources said that Anushka has been charging a minimum remuneration of Rs 1 Cr per movie and she has a consistent demand in the Tollywood despite the emergence of new heroines into the industry.

Anushka shot into fame with her blockbuster movie ‘Arundhati’ and has remained the most sought after heroine in the Tollywood. The IT department will now make a study of the papers seized and serve notice on her if any anomalies are found in her IT returns.
