HYDERABAD: Endowments minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, whose Praja Abhiyan yatra in Gadwal constituency is facing stiff resistance from I&PR minister D K Aruna and her followers, has invited MPs from Telangana for dinner on Monday.

 

Last Sunday, Krishna Rao had announced a week-long break of his yatra following a truce worked out by local Congress leaders at the behest of PCC chief D Srinivas. Questioning cabinet colleague Aruna's objection to his tour, Rao reiterated his statement that he would follow in her footsteps if she had a better plan to speed up the formation of Telangana state. "If she does not have any alternative, she must join me in the yatra across Mahbubnagar," said Rao. Aruna, meanwhile, questioned Rao's motive of taking out a yatra.
