Supreme Court's Crucial Take On Farm Laws And Farmers Protest:- The Farmers across the country have been protesting indefinitely against the newly introduced three farm laws by the Centre. The protests are happening at the New Delhi border from the past 50 days and the talks between the Centre and the Farmer Unions failed after several attempts. The Supreme Court will hear a plea today challenging the new farm laws and about the removal of the protestors at the border of New Delhi. A bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde will hear the plea today and will announce their decision soon.

The ninth round of talks are scheduled to take place on January 15th and the farmers made it clear that they would continue to protest till a resolution is found. Though the Centre announced that the ongoing discussions are healthy, the farmer unions said that there are no major developments in the issue till date. The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing till January 11th after it said that the talks would find a solution. The top court also supported the farmers saying that the agitation should continue.

The farmer unions said that the Supreme Court will have no role in resolving the issue. The farmers once again warned that they would block all the borders that are heading to the national capital. They said that the government should resolve the political deadlock over the farm laws. They said that the Centre is using the Supreme Court as a political shield. Thousands of farmers from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh staged protests at the national border from the past 50 days.
