Massive Rally Planned For Modi’s Bidar Visit:- To review the state unit’s readiness for next year’s elections to the Legislative Assembly, the top leaders of BJP chaired a series of meetings. The BJP leaders who were part of the meeting were Union minister for human resources development, Prakash Javadekar, and Union railways minister, Piyush Goyal.

Meetings with members of booth empowerment committee, campaign committee, political affairs committee, state office bearers, and the core committee, was chaired by Mr. Javadekar and Mr. Goyal. Besides this, preparations for prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Karnataka are also reviewed by the party. The rally is scheduled to be addressed by Mr. Modi in Bidar on October 29.

The sources in the party said that the party cadres were instructed by Mr. Javadekar, to mobilize large number of people for the rally in Bidar. The party workers were asked by Mr. Javadekar to attend the meeting in large numbers from Hyderabad-Karnataka region. Moreover, Mr. Javadekar took inputs from the members, regarding empowerment of booth committees.

Mr. Javadekar, in his last meeting, had instructed to conduct booth empowerment programmes in each booths. And the party leaders were assigned take in-charge of boots. He has  reviewed the progress of works, today. Meanwhile, the list of candidates for elections to the Council from six graduate and teachers constituencies, is yet to be finalized by the party. The members of respective district core committees were asked to meet once again and send three names to the core committees.
