“They Asked me to Learn ABCD of Politics When I Questioned About Special Status”: Pawan Kalyan
January 27, 2017 12:26
With huge tension prevailing Andhra Pradesh, especially in Visakhapatnam, Power star Pawan Kalyan called for a press conference today.
He said "from past two days, huge protest have been going on for Andhra Pradesh special category. The main reason for me to join politics and start Jana Sena Party is because, from many decades instead of solving the issues, these issues were being delayed due to which I had to react. Before coming into power, giving assurance of providing justice and later forgetting the promises after getting into power, this I did not like. Not only me, everyone's problems have made me start Jana Sena party."
He added "that day the main reason for me to support Telugu Desam Party or Bharat Janata Party was till then already from 10 years Congress party had been ruling. They had never solved the issues of people. So, I thought that TDP and BJP would understand the problems and solve them. That is why I supported them. But they did not stand on their words. When I supported them they did not question me if I had any political experience. They sent me to Karnataka, Tamil Nadu border, Telangana and all around Andhra Pradesh. Today when I am questioning about Andhra Pradesh Special Category, they question me what I know about politics. They are asking me to learn ABCD of politics. It's been three years BJP ruling the centre and TDP ruling the state. Every time I spoke on and off about many issues including the note for the vote. I only did so because I thought that already the two states are separated and all these issues might severely affect the people. I only did so because I wanted to solve the problems not because I want to support all these parties."
