The YSR Congress has given call for a State-wide bandh on Tuesday. They are protesting against the Centre’s decision not to give Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. All shops, offices, schools and colleges have been shut down. All the bus transport have come to a stand still.
City wing president Lella Appireddy led the rally. He said “Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had not only reneged on all poll promises but also had betrayed the people of the State by his “ham-handed approach” on Special Category Status.”
He challenged the Chief Minister to pull out NDA government. Mr. Appireddy said that “Mr. Naidu should show some spine to extract a better deal from the Centre.”
