Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan along with Agriculture Minister Prathipathi Pulla Rao visited Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy temple in Vijayawada on Thursday. Water Resources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and District Collector Gandham Chandrudu received the Governor after which he offered prayers.

Durga Temple Executive Officer SS Chandrasekhar Azad and temple priests welcomed the Governor with traditional Purnakumbham. Later, the Governor was taken to Durga temple where he offered special prayers to the Goddess. Temple Executive Officer gave prasadam to the Governor.

District Collector also briefed him about various development works taken up by the Devasthanam for Krishna Pushkarams. Sub-Collector G Srujana, Mayor Koneru Sridhar and other officials were also present.
