Advocates JAC and judicial employees across Telangana launched a week-long protest 'Chalo High Court' on Monday. They demanded bifurcation of the existing Hyderabad High Court.
Adequate security and traffic arrangements have been made in the state and police have warned of action against the lawyers in case of any violations.
On Sunday, the lawyers were denied permission by the Hyderabad Police for the "Chalo High Court" programe.
'Chalo High Court' was a call given by Federation of Bar Associations appealing to all advocates practising in various courts in the districts of Telangana and Hyderabad to proceed to High Court on Monday.
Earlier, the advocates across Telangana under High Court Bar Association, Telangana Advocates' JAC and others had launched a week-long protest outside courts protesting against the allocation of judicial officers between AP and Telangana, demanding the officers be allocated based on their nativity.
