Janasena Chief, Pawan Kalyan spoke to the media upon the Kapu reservation quota issue.

Opining that, he was deeply saddened with Kapu agitation issue, Pawan Kalyan said that, this is not the right way to fight for the rights. What all he said throughout the press meet are as follows:

- To include Kapus under reservation quota, is not something, which can be done in a single day.      

- Reservation issue has been there, since the British period.

- Why is the government delaying its  decision

- As the issue is getting delayed, day by day, the frustrated feeling is getting increased and that is leading to these types of violence related activities.

- Political leaders should be responsible and every party should come forward and fight for the rights.

- In Telangana and Uttharandhra regions, Kapus are in BCs.

- Only in Rayalaseema and Coastal regions, Kapus are out of BCs.  

- People relating to one particular community, cannot dare to set fire on a train. There are some anti social elements, that are involved in it.
 
- Kapus should be included in BCs, without making any loss to the existing BCs.

- I prefer national integration. I do not stress on any particular caste

- Fight for the rights should be through non-violence.
 
- When the Kapus meeting was held in a huge way, why the government neglected it, without huge police forces.  

- HCU student Rohith Vemula’s suicide saddened me. It is only related to one university and might not have made it a national issue.

- Caste politics are always there at the university levels. Rohith committed suicide, only due to the disappointment on the system.

- Whenever there is law and order problem, I will surely come forward and express my views on it.
