Kapu leader and former minister Mudragada Padmanabham spoke to the media, and expressed his version over the issue took place, taking stand from all the Kapus.
Mudragada said that, they are not against any political party, and even not supporting any particular party.
Proving it in live, he even tried to show a soft corner on the AP government, saying that, TDP cannot be blamed completely for the negligence, but we are just asking to keep up its promise, made during the elections.
The government promised to allocate Rs 100 crore for development of Kapu community. Not satisfied with this, Various Kapu organizations demanded the government to allocate Rs 1,000 crore for the corporation. Mudragada reminded about the same and warned to go on for indefinite strike, if the promises are not fulfilled by today evening.
Slashing at the comments on the Kapu community saying that it got sold, Mudragada said, “Few people are publicizing that we got sold to some political party, but there is no such issue took place. At this age, I do not need any political benefits, but I am only working for the welfare of our Kapu community.”
“Right from the day, we announced the date of agitation, the government tried to surpass us. It is completely government’s fault and is intentionally diverting the controversy, towards us. It is not right to attack the innocent Kapus and put wrong cases,” Mudragada said.
He further condemned the Kapu attacks on police and media, saying that, their intention was never to attack anyone, but only solve the problem.
He further pleaded the public, not to join him in the protest and support, as it would create new problems for them.
Mudragada even felt emotional and said that their children are suffering from the lack of food and are not able to live a comfortable life.
Jagan, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan’s press meets, are the other issues, which are expected to heat up the day.
