Greater Congress Chief, Danam Nagendar was attacked by Congress party chief of Rangareddy district, Mallesh Goud followers this afternoon and the incident has now turned viral, among the political circles.

On one side, Congress Darshan, a Mumbai journal’s controversial comments against Nehru went viral in the capital, even the local incidents are also adding, to heat up the rivalry on the occasion of 131st Congress foundation day.

Regarding this, the reports stated that, Mallesh Goud hoisted the Congress party's flag at Uppal, Hyderabad, today.

Danam Nagendar who thought that he would be hoisting the flag, reached the venue late by a few minutes. Upon reaching, he was angry with the act of Mallesh Goud.

Danam then dropped the flag down and re-hoisted the flag, which irritated Mallesh Goud followers around.  

This further turned viral and made the duo leader followers get into rivalry, throwing the eggs and tomatoes against each other followers.

Mallesh Goud followers pushed out Danam and his followers and said that, Danam’s authority is restricted to Hyderabad only, but not entire Rangareddy. Mallesh Goud followers even raised the loud slogans on this issue against Danam Nagendar.

On the other hand, reacting to the issue, Mallesh Goud said, “Being the occasion of formation day, the party’s high command asked the party leaders to hoist the flags and so I hoisted at Uppal. Even then, Danam dropping down and re-hoisting the same flag, angered a few of my followers and so reacted aggressively.”      

It was known that, Danam Nagendar allegedly decided to join TRS. But after KCR ignored Danam, he was shocked and he has even received huge criticism from the own party seniors itself.

In this situation, where Danam Nagendar is already facing tough time, the current flag hoisting controversy is expected to further enhance the distance from the party seniors.
