Rahul Gandhi insulted, after girls supported Modi

Opposition party leaders are supposed to criticize the government in the public meetings and expect the same from the public. In fact, in many situations, people react positively towards the leaders in front of them. But the formula went wrong in Rahul Gandhi’s case.

Yesterday, he had attended Mt Carmel college in Bengaluru and spoke to the girl students. As a part of his speech in the auditorium, Rahul Gandhi questioned the girls, whether the Swachh Bharat is really working, intending to criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.

In that case, any leader would generally expect the reply ‘No’, but to the shock, the girls said that the Swachh Bharat is working well in the country.

It would have been better, if Pappu would have diverted the topic then and there, but going to some more extent, he further questioned whether ‘Make In India’ is working and shockingly, he again got the similar response.

Finally, left with no option, Rahul Gandhi then diverted the topic, saying that he does not have any confidence that ‘Swachh Bharat’ and ‘Make In India’ are working. Later, speaking to the media, Rahul said that the students are very active.

After the worst defeat of Modi's government in the recent Bihar elections, Rahul Gandhi might have thought that it would be the right time to divert the Indians towards Congress party again.

With the same intention, he might have commented against Modi’s schemes and expected the negative response from the students. But after getting shock from the public, he might have then understood that, the impact of Modi is still there in the country.

Rahul Gandhi backs Aamir Khan

On the other side, Rahul Gandhi is even cornered in the same hall, for his supportive statements about Aamir Khan’s speech about intolerance.

He said, “Bullying is unpleasant, and will not do good to the country. If someone is concerned it is always better to talk, blanket attack is not healthy. Shouting at people is easy to do, but it’s much more powerful to listen to someone. Hating someone is easy, loving someone is much more powerful to do.”

Referring to intolerance issue, Pappu said, Dadri and Dalit killing incidents are very disturbing. The government should have conversation on issues, instead of making attempts to suppress them.

At a point of time, where Congress party is losing its recognition in the country, Rahul’s support to Aamir is expected to show a huge negative influence, as most of the Indians are against Aamir now.
