Pasunuri Dayakar is finalized as the candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat, from TRS party.
Warangal bypolls is the present hot topic of the dual Telugu states. Along with the TRS party in Telangana, even TDP and YSRCP are keen on contesting in these elections. However, the political analysts say that, the conditions are favorable for the TRS party.
The reason behind this is, Rajya Sabha MP, Warangal municipal corporation, SudhaRani, is likely to quit TDP and join TRS at any minute and moreover, in the last 16 months, TRS has emerged as the most powerful party in the state and its position is now turned as immovable, by any other political party, in the near future.
So, with the same confidence, the TRS party has landed Pasunuri Prabhakar as the candidate for the seat. After the prolonged consultations with the Telangana Chief Minister KCR and legal experts in his camp office, the decision was announced in the media, late on yesterday evening.
Pasunuri Dayakar’s caste is an advantage
In the beginning, the TRS party considered G Ravi Kumar’s name, but later felt that, his caste might turn as the controversy. So the party leaders called up Dayakar and informed him about the proposal. As Dayakar was found happy with it, an official announcement regarding the same was made.
Pasunuri Dayakar, a 48 year old person, belongs to Madiga community. He hails from Bollikunta village of Sangem mandal, in the Warangal district. He earlier designed Telangana Talli idol, and he had bachelor of fine arts (BFA) degree from JNTU, Hyderabad.
Pasunuri has many times proved his commitment and love towards Telangana. He even had a special reputation in Warangal. Moreover, he is from backward community. So, making all such analysis, the Telangana government thought that, Pasunuri Dayakar would be the right candidate for Warangal bypolls.
