Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu seems to step back in Warangal by-polls, to avoid unnecessary controversy with Telangana Chief Minister KCR.
Chandrababu Naidu and KCR have maintained a tough rivalry, especially during the cash for vote and phone conversation issues. After those incidents, the duo, did not come together. Finally, it is due to the historical celebration of AP, Amaravati stone laying ceremony, the duo joined the hands.
Accepting Naidu’s invitation, KCR had attended the Amaravati celebrations. It is since then, Naidu is no more in a mood to create rivalry again and is trying to maintain cordial relations with Telangana CM.
Reportedly, even a few of the people, suggested Naidu to stay away from rivalries with KCR, as the TDP’s position is already weakening in Telangana.
So, if at all, Naidu campaigns for Warangal by-polls, as per the political tradition, he has to obviously criticize KCR and other opposition parties. It might thus lead to fresh rivalry with KCR.
Moreover, as the candidate is representing from BJP party, Naidu seems least concerned about campaigning and so asked Telangana TDP leaders to manage the situation, without involving him.
But the party leaders are opining that, without Chandrababu Naidu, the campaigns might not get the required boost and are so seeking his involvement. Finally, there came a situation, where even Andhra Pradesh CM, who has decades of experience in the politics and managed to shake the senior most leaders, is currently dancing to the tunes of Telangana CM.
No can deny that the only reason behind this, is the loss suffered by AP, due to the states bifurcation. As the Centre is even showing the empty hands to AP, Naidu is keen on maintaining the cordial relations with Telangana, with no other option.
Regarding this, he already got ready to sacrifice Warangal seat. It should be seen, what else he sacrifices for his beloved friendly enemy KCR.
