“ D Srinivas, the senior congress leader in likely to join the TRS party, the official declaration is expected to come any minute”, the reports say.

D Srinivas, the former minister and senior Congress leader, who had once, took the party on success route is now found unhappy about it.

If the reports are to be believed, regarding this, he already wrote a letter to the party president Sonia Gandhi saying that, he is neglected by the party all the time. It was heard that, he asked the MLC seat, but the party rejected it. Moreover, the party did not even inform, that it nominated Akula Lalitha as the MLC candidate.

Digvijay Singh is trying to put an end to my career- DS

Specifying Digvijay Singh, Congress MP, DS said, “Singh is trying to put an end to my political career. In fact, he is the one who obstructed me to nominate for MLC elections.

Basing all these, DS finally decided to quit congress and join in TRS party. As a part of Telangana government’s ‘Harithaharam’ programme from July 3rd, KCR might reach  Nizamabad on July 6th, and then might officially invite DS into the party.   

DS, being a senior Congress leader, who had a vast political experience, is obviously a major plus for the TRS party. On the other side, Congress is just trying to make a little positive influence in the state these days against TRS. At this time, DS leaving the party and joining in TRS is definitely a major loss to the Congress.
