Intermediate students in the old city who were fighting in a friendly manner resulted in the death of one of the students.

Under Mirchowk police station limits, Nabeel Ahmed, a 17 year old boy was engaged in a mock street fight. Though the incident was happened few days ago (on May 3rd), it came into light when it was uploaded on social networking sites.

Through the video, it was revealed that the guy was repeatedly punched on the face and the chest by the opponent. After those continuous punches, the guy fell unconscious then and there. The friends were shocked by the incident and rushed to the nearby hospital. But the guy was already dead and the same was declared by the doctors over there.

The guys who were stunned by the incident informed the Nabeel parents about his death, but lied them that it was a road accident. Though initially they believed it, the deceased's father, who works in Dubai, came on May 7, he had some suspicions on their statement and so made a police report. The police sent the body for post mortem and arrested one of the guy among the group. Under a strict interrogation, he narrated the entire incident.

Speaking on the incident, DCP Hyderabad (South) V Satyanarayana said that a strict action will be taken against the guys involved in it and also assured that a proper investigation would be further done to know whether the death was an accident or a pre planned murder.
