Information for Assistant Commandments posts :
Total posts : 304 Assistant commandments (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Wise Vacancies :
1. BSF : 28 Posts
2. CRPF : 94 Posts
3. CISF : 37 Posts
4. ITBP : 107 Posts
5. SSB : 38 Posts
Eligible Criteria :
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : 20 to 25 years
Age of Relaxation :
5 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and 3 years for other Backward Classes (NCL)

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on Written examination, Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests & Interview/ Personality Test.
Application Fee :
The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
