The United States President Brack Obama has announced that his government will be sending 300 military advisers to Iraq and added that US will continue to support Iraq security forces. However, Obama said that US troops will not be involving in the fighting again.

The US President opined that Iraqi leaders should look out for a solution for the peace. “Leaders should keep their differences aside and unite for a solution for the future of Iraq. US will not get involved in these issues,” added Obama. "It is not the place of United States to choose Iraqi leaders," said Obama when asked about removal of Iraqi Prime Minister. He later announced a series of steps to improve intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance of the militant army that has taken several Iraqi cities and is threatening the capital in Baghdad.

Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to travel to Iraq soon. for diplomatic efforts that include demands for a more inclusive government.  Obama has expressed doubts about launching air strikes in Iraq after meeting Congressional leaders on Wednesday but the option is in consideration if needed in future.
