Cameras at 180 mts distance for Obama

With only days left for United States President Barack Obama visiting India for the second time, the security measures have been increased in the National capital. US Secret Service will take over a section of Delhi airport where US President's Air Force One  flight will land on January 25th.

Around 15,000 CCTV have been installed so far and Delhi's Rajpath, the 3 km stretch on which the Republic Day parade will be held, has about 165 CCTVs which means a camera for every 180 metres distance. A seven layered security ring is being planned around Rajpath and metro stations around Rajpath will be closed to common man from January 25th.  

According to the officials, around 40,000 to 50,000 security personnel will be on duty on January 26th. The next day, Obama will be visiting Agra and the highway of Delhi, Agra will be closed for two days. Massive security is being arranged at ITC Maurya Sheraton which will accommodate for Obama.
