Oppositions attack T and AP CM

It is hardly ten days that K Chandrasekhar Rao took charge as chief minister of Telangana, opposition parties have already started their attack on the government to implement their promise of farm loan waiver.

And it is hardly 48 hours that Nara Chandrababu Naidu sworn-in as CM of AP, YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan wrote an open letter to Naidu demanding him to clear the loans of farmers as a new season is approaching. Jagan further pressurizing Naidu, asked him to clear all the loans such as Gold Loans of farmers, Dwakra women loans.

As Andhra Pradesh is divided into two states, it will definitely take some time to get the things settled as the division of certain sections and departments is yet to be completed.  Telangana CM KCR is under great threat than AP CM Naidu as opposition parties are more in number. In Telangana, Congress, BJP, TDP are sitting in the opposition while in AP, YSR Congress party is the only opposition. As KCR announced conditions to scrap the farm loans, oppositions have slammed the TRS government and accused it of going back on the promise made to the farmer before the elections. Opening his mouth for the first time, KCR said that TRS government is committed to implement the farm loan waiver scheme at any cost.

While in Andhra Pradesh it is different scenario, unlike the Telangana, AP is budget deficient and is completely dependent on the Central government for funds. Andhra Pradesh is seriously in a crisis position and can't even afford to pay salaries to the employees next month. In spite of knowing all the facts, opposition party in AP should give the government more time to raise the funds. Already investors are ready to invest Rs 5600 crores but this won't be enough as the estimated budget need to scrap the loans of farmers is Rs 87,000 crores. To execute this scheme, Naidu has set-up a committee which will show a road map.

However it is heard that TDP government is considering conditions like the TRS government but it could get an uproar from the YSRCP. TRS government which announced that in the next ten days, a decision on farm loan waiver will get clearance from Reserve Bank of India. We have to see how TDP government accomplishes this huge task.
