High Hopes From Rahul Gandhi : Telangana Congress:- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N Uttam Kumar Reddy yesterday said that the participation of AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi in the Praja Garjana public meeting will pave the way for the revival of the Congress party in the state and ensure its return to power in the upcoming 2019 elections.

The public meeting is scheduled to be held on June 1.  Addressing a preparatory meeting in Sangareddy, Reddy declared that Rahul would bring the party into unity and ensure that it develops a fighting spirit to remove the TRS government.

A charge-sheet will be released by the PCC against the government and will furnish its own list of what the Congress will do for people after coming into power. This will be useful for the workers who will be campaigning for the party and will nail the misrule of the TRS.

Moreover, the Sangareddy meeting will highlight the failures of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the centre to deliver on the promises it made to Telangana. This includes initiating the Kazipet coach factory, the steel factory at Bayyaram, the Tribal University, an All Indian Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and a division of the High Court.
