Pranab Mukherjee has approved the Union cabinet decision to extend the President's Rule in Andhra Pradesh. On Monday evening the Rashtrapathi Bhavan sources have released according orders for the continuation of President's Rule. Though Parliament nod needed for the President's Rule to extend, as the election code is on going, the cabinet did not take any risky decision and dissolved the AP Assembly too.
As the state is bifurcated, the President's Rule will end on June 2nd as per the President's orders. Meanwhile, the distribution process are progressing at decent speed and according Raj Bhavan, all the formalities for the division of the state will be completed by June 2nd.
