BJP is deliberating to announce Hyderabad as Union Territory for the next ten years and it will be declared officially as the polling in Telangana region concludes i.e, on April 30th. Narendra Modi who will be visiting Tirupathi on Wednesday night and is likely to announce Hyderabad as Union Territory if BJP is voted into power.

It is heard that Telugu Desam chief Chandrababu Naidu and senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu have put lot of pressure on BJP and Modi to officially announce Hyderabad as UT. A BJP insider has confirmed that Hyderabad will be made UT at any cost if its party is voted into power.

The BJP wants to take this slogan to the Seemandhra public with aggressive campaign too. This could eventually benefit both TDP and BJP.
