In retaliation to Telangana Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Ramya's hurtful comments against TRS chief KCR, party activists attacked her at her house in Karimnagar. Her violent outbursts aimed at KCR has enraged TRS activists, who destroyed furniture at a function hall owned by her.

Ramya, KCR's brother's daughter, has become a staunch supporter of ex-TRS leader Chinta Swamy and made degrading comments against KCR saying she will offer her sandals to teach him a lesson. Along with other women in the party, she had even lashed out at his apathy for the stranded Telangana victims in Uttarakhand. She is now strongly urging people to end the party chief's dictatorship.

Responding to the attacks, she has now lodged a compliant with the police. The niece had become the uncle's enemy.
