It seems midnight is suits the law enforcement department to disrupt fasts in protest against the Government.  

Same place, same type agitation, same cause and the same type of police interference but the political parties to which the leaders and party workers work are different in four occasions.

Telugu Desam Party, Left parties, Bharatiya Janata Party and finally yester day YSR Congress Party staged fasting at Old MLA quarters, were disrupted by the police at midnight.

YS Vijayamma and other leaders belong to YSR Congress Party were in fast since 5 days in protest of the electricity charges hike announced by Government at Old MLA quarters. Expecting a revolt 6 DCPs and 6 Acps with a big police force reached the place of agitation at mid night and forcibly took them to NIMS Hospital for treatment as their BP and glucose levels had fallen down. Protesting party workers first made it difficult to the police but arresting the them made the way clear to take the leaders to the hospital.

Today in the morning Vijayamma announced ending of her fasting in NIMS.
