In the wake of TJAC's Sadak Bandh today between 6 am and 6pm on national highway number 07, police took arrangements to ensure that the passengers shuttling on this route don't face any inconvenience. Already bind over cases have been filed and TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram was taken into the preventive custody this morning.

Meanwhile, RTC-which was confused whether or not to run buses-has said that they have finally decided to operate services on national highway number 07 only on the instructions from the police. However, they said alternative arrangements-alternative routes-have already been prepared in case a traffic jam occurs on the highway.

This route on which Sadak Bandh is taking place connects Hyderabad to Tirupati, Kadapa and Kurnool.  Let us hope that no untoward incident takes place in Sadak Bandh.
