The Bapatla MLA appealed to the media not to gossip over a possible difference of opinion among the Congress leaders. Gade Venkat Reddy expressed that he was not against the T protests but only said what his opinion on the issue. He added that does not mean that there is a rift between him and the other leaders. Being a democratic country everybody has a a chance to express their individual opinions on pertaining issues.
He requested the media to use utmost caution on such sensitive issues as it could create unnecessary hassles.
Anyways, the plenary underway in Jaipur is to decide the fate of the state in particular. Congress holds 'Chinthan Baithak Conclave' in which all Congress ruled governments would be present to discuss the various issues that trouble those states. As far as our state is concerned T issue would rule the roost.
With T becoming inevitable as per the initial rumours, this speech by the leader is a little surprising. Another opinion delivered by D Srinivasa Rao that the centre is undecided over the T and he would abide by the High Command's orders, is equally astonishing.
