Kavitha all set to turn Minister in KCR's Cabinet:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR's daughter Kavitha Kalvakuntla had a bitter experience after she lost in the 2019 polls. Kavitha took a break and she won in the MLC elections from Nizamabad with a huge majority. The elections took place on October 8th and the counting took place today. Kavitha managed to get 728 votes from the 823 votes which is equal to 88% of the total votes. TRS supporters and leaders celebrated her victory. There are strong rumors that Kavitha will be soon inducted into KCR's cabinet.

KTR and Harish Rao are the ministers in KCR's cabinet from his family. Kavitha would be the third from the family to join KCR's cabinet. There is no vacancy in the state cabinet but some of the ministers may be asked to step down to accomodate Kavitha. Ministers like Prashanth Reddy are ready to step down for Kavitha. A clarity on this is expected soon and Kavitha may take up the cabinet post early next year. Kavitha has been playing a crucial role in TRS after the party ended up victorious. Several crucial decisions of the party are taken by Kavitha and KTR.
