None can stop the Telangana formation, claims the TRS leader Harish Rao. The Siddipet MLA today (January 18) commented that frequent visits to New Delhi will not be able to stop the separate state formation. The leader also said that if Seemandhra leaders had some doubts about the sharing of waters, they are free to discuss with the TRS leaders who are very hospitable.
The Telangana issue would take a vital turn today in the brainstorming session, 'Chinthan Baithak Conclave', held at Jaipur. The fast spreading speculation about the Congress plans are that the state might be divided into three parts with Hyderabad being made as an union territory.
But this for sure is unacceptable for the TRS as it eyes on the State capital. However TRS supremo, KCR seems to be showing interest in a referendum to judge the mass opinion on the issue. The need arises after many leaders of the GHMC demanded a separate Hyderabad cutting party lines.
Meanwhile senior Congress leader D Srinivas from Telangana region expressed that Centre is yet to decide on the T issue. He also affirmed that the he would abide by the high command's decision. Adding that rumours over a mooted proposal is figments of imagination and there is no reality on the issue. (Wishesh AarKay)
