TTD's hundis are well known to have several valuable and wealthy offerings to the god from stacks of currency to the priciest of the jewels. The TTD treasury is no less but the riches span another direction, history. The number of valuables in TTD treasury which have historic significance are virtually innumerable.

The chairman of TTD, LV Subramanyam mentioned today that there were coins from the past in the treasury that weigh over 10 tons. Imagine the rich history they could convey to the world. Hence, the chairman has called for historians and archeologists to evaluate the valuables at the treasury. Once the evaluation is done, the most valuable would be displayed at an exhibition which is likely to be held this year end.
