Ayyappa devotees face inconvenience

The South Central Railway, which has its headquarters in Hyderabad, has said that certain changes took place in Hyderabad-Kollam express, a special service inducted for the convenience of Sabarimala pilgrims from Hyderabad. The officials have said that Hyderabad-Kollam Express, which was scheduled to leave for Kollam this evening at 3.55 has been postponed by seven-and-half hours. This would simply mean that Kollam special express would now leave Nampally station at 11.30 pm.

This sudden change in the schedule is reportedly troubling Ayyappa devotees. In fact, several devotees have said that such things have taken place earlier also and many devotees had to wait for hours together in railway stations and the same is happening today. Notably, already several devotees have already reached Hyderabad railway station.
