The South Central Railway (SCR) canceled 29 trains that are running to Telangana due to the poor patronage due to coronavirus. Some of the canceled trains are Kakinada town-Lingampalli, Secunderabad-Machilipatnam, Hyderabad-Ernakulam, Hyderabad-Vijayawada, Hyderabad-Tiruchirapalli, HS Nanded-Aurangabad, Aurangabad-Renigunta, Tirupati-Chennai Central and Kacheguda -Kanpur Central. The number of coronavirus cases in Telangana has seen a rise. Several other trains from Mumbai to Telangana too are canceled.

South Central Railway also said that the refund for the customers will be provided at the counters and they can be processed immediately. The Telangana government asked all the educational institutions, theatres and shopping malls to be shut down in the wake of coronavirus row. All the meetings with the prisoners across the state are called off. The Indian Dental Association (IDA) asked the dentists to cancel the non-essential dental care.
