With Cylone Neelam approaching Andhra-Tamil Nadu borders, the situation in Nellore district has turned tense. Although all measures have been taken by the Andhra Pradesh Government, people residing in areas close to Tamil Nadu are reportedly expressing their tension. Already heavy rains accompanied by gusty winds are throwing life out of gear in Nellore.

It may be noted that the deep depression in Bay of Bengal turned into a cyclone on Tuesday afternoon. Meteorological department officials have said that this cyclone is most likey to hit Andhra-Tamil Nadu border on Tuesday evening. So far the cyclone didn't hit.
