The union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has spoken about Telangana turmoil for the first time after he became the union home minister. He has said that he need to know complete details about Telangana issue. Further, he said that an appropriate decision would be taken only after conveying an all party meet and said that there were no signs of holding the meeting in near future. The political observers said that this statement of Shinde at this time is most likely to intensify the proposed agitation by pro-Telangana supporters.

On the other hand, the sources said that Sushil Kumar Shinde made this statement only to clear rumours that were rife on bifurcation. Recently, some political and other association leaders said a decision on Telangana would be taken in September itself.

Meanwhile, TRS MLA Harish Rao has said that Shinde made these statements since he had no idea about the issue. He even said that formation of Telangana state was inevitable and condemned the statements of Mr. Shinde.
