In an unusual incident, robbery took place at railway reservation counter in Amalapuram village of East Godavari district on Monday. Miscreants barged into the reservation counter and locked up the staff in the loo after which they looted Rs. 1.20 lakh from the counter. The locked staff, however, managed to alert the locals, who in turn caught hold of two burglars while others gave a slip. The police, who arrived at the spot, have took the robbers into the custody and started enquiry.
