East Godavari Politics: Pawan Kalyan Rejects Kanna Babu:- Kanna Babu Kurasala has been named as the most corrupted politician across the Godavari circles. He is currently working as the Party President for YSRCP East Godavari wing. Starting his journey as a journalist, Kanna Babu ended up earning crores in a short span and he is facing various charges of corruption. He earned crores of money through land settlements and other illegal activities. He contested from Prajarajyam in 2009 elections and he created several problems in the party internally. He brought a huge gap between Chiranjeevi and other party leaders of East Godavari through his words.

Kanna Babu faced allegations for selling Prajarajyam tickets on the name of Chiranjeevi. In 2014 elections, he contested as an independent and lost after which he joined YSRCP. There are talks that he created a drift between YS Jagan and Sunil. With Janasena emerging as a super power, Kanna Babu aspired to join Janasena and contest in 2019 elections. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan straightaway rejected Kanna Babu joining Janasena saying that there is no space in the party for people like him.

Janasena East Godavari leaders clarified that Pawan Kalyan is not in a mood to allow people like Kanna Babu. With nothing much to do, Kanna Babu is left puzzled and is scared of contesting in 2019 elections.
