Yesteryear heroine, Sridevi, who once rocked silver screen, has thronged Tirumala temple this morning and sought the blessings of Srivaru. She was accompanied by the daughter of Subbirami Reddy, Pinki Reddy. Sridevi, after she came out of the temple, has spoken to the media. She has said that she prayed for the success of English Vinglish movie wherein Sridevi is playing the lead role after a long gap. She even said that her second innings (career innnings) should become successful.
It may be noted that Sridevi appeared for decades together in Telugu and Hindi films. She, however, restrained herself from the big screen after she married Indian film producer Boney Kapoor. She is currently 49 years old. Her come back film English Vinglish revolves around a woman who feels strange and in secured due to her inability to speak English. How she masters the language and teaches a lesson becomes the main theme of the movie. Expectations are sky high from this film.
